klinio Lead Finder — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

klinio Lead Finder is a Chrome extension by klinio (klinio.io) that helps you turn a LinkedIn search into a list of business leads with verified contact details. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses, what it sends to klinio, and what it does not do.

What the extension reads

When you open the side panel on a LinkedIn page, the extension reads the publicly visible company names and their LinkedIn company URLs from the page you are already viewing in your own logged-in session. It reads only what is on screen — it never auto-scrolls, auto-paginates, logs in for you, or makes any request to LinkedIn on your behalf.

What it does NOT access

What is sent to klinio

When you press Find contacts, the extension sends the scraped list (company name and LinkedIn URL, and optionally a website/location if shown) to klinio’s servers, which find each company’s business email and phone by visiting the company’s own public website and verifying the mailbox. Results are shown back in the panel. If you are signed in, this is tied to your klinio account; as a guest, it is tied to a randomly generated device identifier only.

Accounts and authentication

Signing in uses your existing klinio (Supabase) account via Google OAuth. The extension stores the resulting session token locally in your browser (chrome.storage) so you stay signed in; it is sent only to klinio to authenticate your requests.

Data retention

A lookup you start is kept only if you press Save to klinio (it then appears in your klinio History). Lookups you do not save are automatically deleted within 24 hours. You can delete saved lists at any time from klinio.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Contact data is processed to fulfil your own lookup request. Enrichment may involve klinio’s own worker fetching a company’s public website.
