LinkedIn Company Finder · Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
LinkedIn Company Finder is a Chrome extension by klinio (klinio.io), available on the Chrome Web Store, that turns the companies on a LinkedIn page into a list of business contacts. This page explains exactly what the extension reads, what it sends to klinio, and what it never touches.
What the extension reads
On the LinkedIn tab where you open the side panel, it reads the company names and LinkedIn company links that are visible on that page. On a company’s own LinkedIn page it also reads the website and the phone number the company publishes there. It reads only what is already on your screen: it never scrolls, opens other pages, signs in, or sends requests to LinkedIn for you.
What it does not access
- Your LinkedIn password, LinkedIn cookies, or private messages.
- Any page other than the LinkedIn tab you use it on.
- Your browsing history, keystrokes, or files.
Signing in
The extension has no sign-in of its own. It uses your klinio.io session in the same browser: signing in on klinio.io signs you in to the extension, and Sign out in the panel signs you out of klinio.io in that browser. To do this it reads klinio.io’s own sign-in cookie and sends it only to klinio.io. It does not read the cookies of any other website.
What is sent to klinio
When you press Find contacts, the companies read from the page (name, LinkedIn link and, when the page shows them, website and phone) are sent to klinio. klinio visits each company’s own public website to find its business email address and phone number, and shows the results in the panel. Each lookup belongs to your klinio account.
Credits
Every member gets 8 lookups a day, and paid plans use the credits you buy. A company is only counted when a contact is found for it: companies with no email or phone found are free.
Data retention
A lookup you do not save never appears in your klinio History and is deleted automatically after 24 hours. Press Save to klinio to keep it: saved lists stay in your History until you delete them there. To prevent abuse, klinio counts lookups per IP address; those counters are deleted after 2 days.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Contact details are processed only to answer your own lookup.
